Hello MGP readers, we had an interview with Gasha. She opened up about her music career, personal life and her relationship with her colleagues.
Miss Gina Promotes: What influenced you to start a music career?
Gasha: I was born to create music and beautiful stuff… A lot of natural events pushed me in my direction like my father is a natural artist, and actually having that dream for me,
I loved to perform since I was a baby I would sing pop stars music and pretend they were mine, you know? You think you can state it. But basically, I just thank God I found my calling.
Miss Gina Promotes: How has the journey been so far?
Gasha: The journey has been a special one… I’m honored to have a life I have, to be the person I am and to go through life as me.
Miss Gina Promotes: Your music is quite unique and gets mature over time, how do you archive that? Also, what inspires your creativity?
Gasha: Thank you. I won’t lie, I love to hear that my stuff is unique. And I guess as its a true part of me, it grows with me, and I try to keep it real.
My creativity is God-given… I can’t take much credit for the kind of work I do, and what I’m capable of, but I guess my creativity is inspired by who I am.
Miss Gina Promotes: Can you tell us what caused the separation between you and Steven’s Music?
Gasha: Sometimes, not everything can be explained, or should be explained. As much as people would love to know why since the question keeps coming up.
But these things happen everyday and everywhere. Only, this, unfortunately, went public. It’s the past, and everything works together for good.
Miss Gina Promotes: Is Gasha Currently signed to any record label?
Gasha: No I’m not.
Miss Gina Promotes: What are your plans for 2019?
Gasha: Lol I learned that it brings bad luck to announce your plans for whatsoever reasons. Tell only God!
Miss Gina Promotes: When do you plan on dropping a new Album?
Gasha: I’ll drop an album when the time is right.
Miss Gina Promotes: How is your relationship with your fellow female colleagues?
Gasha: I don’t know anyone well enough to have a relationship with them.
Miss Gina Promotes: Speaking about female colleagues, apart from yourself who is your favorite female artist?
Gasha: In Cameroon, Reniss.
Miss Gina Promotes: Some of your fans will like to know why you haven’t been consistent in the game:
Gasha: I just want to let my ”souljas” know that, the music has not been consistent, but the work has.
And it’s gonna be a beautiful history. And I like to stack it all the way up before I make it rain, so I don’t run out.
Hahahha If you get what I mean. So I went quiet, in our face, but underground, it was loud in my head,
and in the studio every other night. And it wasn’t easy. But it’s fun when you look back at it.
Miss Gina Promotes: Who are your favorite artists:
Gasha: My favorite artists change a lot. I recognize and respect true talent on every level. And I hear something new n special every now n then.
They all inspire me, it’s unfair to pick a few now. But I love Burna Boy right now, Tatiana Manois, I’m listening to a lot of popcaan, You know…Vibes.
Miss Gina Promotes: How do you handle critics or negative media?
Gasha: Lol! well, unfortunately, I’m not really active on social media as everyone knows which is terrible…
But sometimes if my friends think it’s hilarious, they send me a screenshot.?
Miss Gina Promotes: What advice will you give anyone who wants to persuade music?
Gasha: Well, if you were called to create music, and you’re sure of it, listen to your heart, and focus.
Miss Gina Promotes: What are your pet peeves and tell us 5 things So many people don’t know about you.
Gasha: Pet peeves… I’m a very intense person so I really hate to be taken for granted.
Also, 5 things people might not know about me are…
I hate rice
I watch a lot of anime
I Love a good book
I love milkshakes
I’m very old fashioned.
Miss Gina Promotes: If you were asked to kiss/slap/marry either Nabil Fongod, Dijay Pazzo or Magasco who will you Kiss, Slap Or Marry?
Gasha: Lol I’m not about none of that. I would rather just hang out and smoke with them.
Miss Gina Promotes: Lastly, what should your fans be expecting from you this year?
Gasha: This year, my fans can expect the only one thing I haven’t given them in a long time. ”Consistency”, Constant loving, and they should open their ears and ”listen” because now more than ever, it’s s time to woke.
