This is an interview with Cameroonian stylist Gwei Noel Yengong aka ”Man Like Clix
about his journey so far as a Fashion Stylist, Influencer and Entrepreneur.
Clix shared with us some of his favorite moments as an image consultant, his favourite African stylists and gave us his definition of a ”designer and a stylist”!

Man Like Clix: My names are Gwei Noel Yengong, I’m a digital Marketer , an image consultant and an entrepreneur. currently residing between Germany and the Uk.
Miss Gina Promotes: What does fashion mean to you?
Man Like Clix: I’m super passionate when we speak fashion. I like to answer to ” what does style means to you “. It introduces you without you saying a word. It is the muted language of self expression.
Miss Gina Promotes: What is your brand’s signature?
Man Like Clix: My brand signifies the life of a gentleman.
Miss Gina Promotes: What makes a good look?
Man Like Clix: Just like we are born differently, A good look stands out from the crowd and stays unique.
Miss Gina Promotes: What do you think are the current and future trends in fashion?
Man Like Clix: Current and future trends in fashion is the dapper fashion style
Miss Gina Promotes: What is the difference between a designer and a stylist?
Man Like Clix: In short , A designer designs what the stylist use to style people if I’m making sense. A designer sits and come up with a fashion idea, craft it and they get it produced, a stylist dresses clients.
Miss Gina Promotes: What do you think of the term “African Fashion”?
Man Like Clix: African fashion to me means a presentation of african culture via fashion
Miss Gina Promotes: Do you plan to start a fashion line?
Man Like Clix: Yes absolutely!
Miss Gina Promotes: What unique spice are you planning to add to the Cameroon Fashion Industry?
Man Like Clix: Planning to style up those who ain’t good at fashion. planning to showcase fashion talents from the country and give them the opportunity to get known.
Miss Gina Promotes: Apart from dressing stylishly and traveling to beautiful countries in the world, what other activities or careers are you pursuing?
Man Like Clix: I’m a business man. I own shares with worldremit. I have a car renting company and a couple of real estate properties home and abroad.
Miss Gina Promotes: Who are your 5 Top African stylists?
Man Like Clix: 1 to 5 Manlikeclix 🤣. Well to be honest i don’t know alot the ones I know I can’t call them top 5. I know people like Divine Polyvalant who is one of the top 5.
Miss Gina Promotes: Who are your 5 Best dressed male and female artistes?
Man Like Clix: Globally I know Jidena and Janelle Monae.
Miss Gina Promotes: What advice will you give to young people who look up to you and aspiring fashionistas?
Man Like Clix: Study and research what your audience love or the difficulties they face and give them the solutions.
Miss Gina Promotes: Do you have an interest in perusing other careers out of the entertainment world?
Man Like Clix: Yes my dream will be to employ at least 89 Cameroonians, so I’m looking at the best way possible.
Miss Gina Promotes: Where do you see yourself as a fashion stylist in 5 years time?
Man Like Clix: I should have a multi million dollar fashion brand with distribution centres all over the world.
