Cameroonian singer, Louis Alga clearly gives a distinction between the music he makes and other popular Cameroonian music.
Born and raised in a small village in Kom from the North West Region of Cameroon called Sowi (His Brand Name – Label).
He is the First born of a non musical background of polygamous family of 13.
Louis credits God, the musically rich culture of his tribe, and his journey through life as his biggest inspiration to do music.
Alga has worked as a recording and back-up artist at street 237 record in 2014. As a solo artist he released his debut single titled ”No Cry”.
He later founded his own Label imprint – SOWI EPIC in 2017.
His third official single ”Lamblion” was released under his label in partnership with Inacity Entertainment.
Recently Louis Alga has released his debut music compilation, the Ep is titled “Jungle Boy Enter City“.
He explains the title means ”rebirth” and the start of his real music career after long
period of struggles, self doubt, depression, low self-esteem, low confidence, he
considers that he has been in the jungle with no electricity, no internet (Dark, Behind the scenes) and now he (jungle Boy) has entered Enter City.
Jungle Boy Enter City EP features production credit from Sangtum aka Pazzo
who produced track 1 – Jungle Boy Enter City track 2 – Ndong, Bonus track – and track 3 – After party.
Inadeplace produced track 5 – Nambo” Track 6 – Lamblion and Track 7 – Kontri Trong The 7 Track Ep also features just two main artist – the talented Kikoh and Cleo Grae.
Louis Alga the Jungle Boy Who Has Entered the City with an addictive EP which gives a afro-folklore lyrics. He blends Itaŋikom, French Language, English Language and Pidgin to give it a perfect sound.
