Born Tania Takoh, T’neeya is an Afro-R&B singer/songwriter born in Douala and raised in Limbe, a small coastal town in Cameroon.

A polyglot, she has carved a niche for herself by being able to sing perfectly in English, French, and Pidgin.

Known for her hit singles Low Battery, Text Me, and Joli, T’neeya released her debut EP “In Her Feelings” in 2021.

T’neeya has been on top playlists on BBC, appeared in the “Afrobeat” documentary on Netflix, and performed on various stages like Afrochella (now Afrofuture), Berlin’s African Food Festival, Afronation, Manifestivities, and many more.

T’neeya is an artist of Cameroonian origins by her father and German by her mother. She was born in Douala, raised in Limbe, and went to secondary school in Bamenda, where she notably did boarding school at “OUR LADY OF LOURDES”.

It was there that she wrote her first musical compositions at age 13, and started a choir that quickly caught people’s attention. Later, she studied Fashion in Berlin (Germany), but her passion for music quickly took over and she dropped everything to pursue a solo career.

She’s the author of several notable singles such as Hold Me Down, Joli, Text Me, and an EP (In Her Feelings), she has collaborated with several African artists such as Darkovibes, Odunsi, several music producers such as KEL P with whom she was signed at Aristokrat , the Nigerian label that revealed Burna Boy.

Connected to a varied audience whose dimensions are drawn by her multiple cultures, her diverse artistic personality, and her ability to speak French, English, pidgin, and German, make her a bridge between several universes.

Her goal is to make her music a reassuring landmark for all humans around the world who pursue their dreams.
