Last week, we published our first review of Jovi’s Album ”God Don Kam”(CLICK HERE) to read the review.

Here’s our overall review of ”God Don Kam” by Jovi.

Jovi is a special rapper, a veteran in the game,  and one who has mastered his craft to his fingertips.

We believe this album ”God Don Kam” is a good one but it is overall not as good as his previous albums like: Mboko God and 16 Wives.

The reason people make such a big deal out of it is because he had starved his fans for a long time and made his demand high.

We believe Jovi used his album to establish himself as a legend in the Cameroonian music industry but he is at his decline stages of his career.

His views on life has shown how real, intelligent and matured he is when you listen to songs like “Versus Versus, Feel Me Free” etc.

We love the fact he talked about the Anglophone problem in “No Peace” which is a serious issue in the country, as of now.

His Vocal presence, lyrical content, delivery and beat control has declined over time as

those factors where there more in his previous projects than how they are in “God Don Kam”.

JOVI’S ”GOD DON KAM” ALBUM REVIEW

However, The album has some songs with  messages which over repeat themselves.

Messages like how he is the best and normally every rapper is supposed to say that but when you get it on nearly every song it becomes boring.

He also doesn’t collaborate with any artist or any producer which doesn’t give any excitement to the album.

He also samples an instrumental from meek mill’s “coldhearted 2” and that’s as unprofessional as it can be and makes that realness in him look fake to an extent.

Overall it’s a good album but it’s not a classic album. It’s not an album that can stand the test of time.
