We need Music Lovers of the 237 Music Industry for this brainstorming session.
We firstly hope we could get a concrete solution after reading this article.
It’s been 5 years since Franko released the biggest hit in Cameroon History “Coller La Petite”.
This song made him go around the world and was certified Gold in so many countries.
Fast forward 5 years later. It’s 2021 and Franko is nowhere to be found. Where is Franko? A Question we can’t Answer
His Fall off is one of the the worst ever in the Cameroonian Music Industry . Mainly because most music listeners have by now appreciated his style of music .
They also appreciate how he kept on releasing music till about 2 years ago (Danse Ta Chose,Partenaire,).
Since then he hasn’t released again as none of his singles gave anywhere near the amount of success Coller la petite did .
He gradually lost his relevance and so diminished the amount of content he released .
Up till today he has lost relevance in the Cameroonian music Industry as the public have forgotten about the Douala based singer.
We can’t really point what he’s lacking or where he went wrong but things are not the same with him as the fame has all gone
The saddest part about this is that he actually has a fanbase as he has 190k YouTube subscribers on his channel and about 200k followers on Instagram.
This means he has people who can potentially consume his art but it seems they aren’t doing so as it isn’t up to the standard most fans expect .
So, we finally pose the Question that What Do You Think Franko Should Do To Become Relevant Again?
