Benzil is a prolific Cameroonian dance hall/Afropop singer who has been consistent over the years.
”Blessings” album is a rich body of work that can be described as a dancehall album from the perspective of an African.
Thus, it blends with a little Afrobeats. Blessings is Benzil’s first body of work since his Extended Play (EP) titled “Legend in the making” with hit songs like “Shake it“, “Come give me lovin” and “fine girl“.
Along with the album announcement marks the release of the first official music video titled ”Belle” which features talented duo ”Ridimz” in a smooth Afro-pop melody and percussions produced by Tony Ef and Phillbill Beatz.
Benzil was able to collaborate on this album with Ridimz and Lanjo to deliver the perfect dancehall album by an African artist. What a way to begin this decade.
A rich music project required a team of talented producers, reason why Strange Kings music was able to assemble some of the best music producers in the country to work on this album.
Benzil teams up again with Mageek Feengaz who is known for producing Benzil’s first hit ”Shake It” to produce 7 songs on this project. Other producers include Tony Eff, Phill Bill Beatz and K Master K, Dj Cliff,and Mr Bridge
Blessings will be available on all streaming platforms on Sunday the 26th Of January 2020 and fans will be able to pre-order from the 20th of January.
