Phone Tax Law Announced by the Cameroonian Government Has Been Suspended

Cameroonian Government Announces A New Strategy of Collecting ’Phone Tax’ from October 15th 2020

The Government has released an official document to suspend the ’Phone Tax’ that became effective on the 15th of October 2020.

Today 19th October a decree has been announced to suspend it.

According to this letter by president Paul Biya, the president has asked that the phone tax be suspended and a more appropriate measure proposed.
