In recent years in the Cameroon Film Industry, The main problem has been where do the films go after release, Although this is still an issue but it has been solved to an extent by International Film Streaming Platform Netflix.

Netflix has acquired 2 of the hottest Cameroon movies in recent time . The Fisherman’s Diary and The Therapy as both this films are set to air on Netflix shortly. This is prove of progress in the Cameroonian Film Industry as we can finally compete on the international film scene

 

The Movie “The Therapy”  is a one of a kind movie featuring the likes of Nollywood legends Richard Mofe Damijo and Iretiola Doyle as well as some Cameroonian top-notch like Alenne Menget, Syndy EmadeLucie Memba,

While The Fisherman’s diary talks of a young girl determined to go to school in a village of fishermen where a girlchild’s education is considered a taboo. Her drive to break this old adage gets her embroiled with her father Solomon’s past.

The Fisherman’s Diary is Produced/Executive Produced  by Cameroonian heavyweight actor and multiple award-winning actors Kang Quintus and directed by Enah Johnscott featuring some of the best actor like Kang Quintus, Ramsey Noah, Daphne Njie, Laura Onyeoma etc.

Cameroonians have taken to social media platforms to congratulate the producers of the movies , since Netflix made the announcement.Many say this is an undeniable proof that the Cameroon movie industry is doing well                                           .
