Cameroonian rapper, Askia, has taken to her Facebook page to clear the air.

Prior to her post, so many fans and music experts have been spreading the news that, Askia doesn’t write her songs and she has refused to acknowledge her songwriters.

”Mami Bakala” wasn’t pleased with that, she decided to address the topic via a post on her page.

She wrote:

”I knew my husband  QILLA  for 6 years before dating and marriage. 

In fact we tried dating some years ago but ended up as friends.

 I wanna make it clear that in all of that time and even now, he has never written a single Line for ASKIA,  as in NEVER.  

There are lots of reasons why he married me and one of them is that I’m fucken smart. I see comments like “Pa is ghosting for ASKIA” 😂😂😂😂. 

Take a long look at me, I’m a PHENOMENON. Accept it or Remain in Denial.
