Cameroonian singer Ambe Tebong, had to get a few things off his chest.
He took to his Instagram page to share this message with us.
Here’s what he wrote:
”I’m not a politician ‘’Je suis qu’un artiste mais Je sais que l’amour n’a pas des frontières’’ When I did Deception, I recorded that song with tears in my eyes.
Ho human asked me to do that song neither did anyone financed it, it was a message from the Holy Ghost from above and I was just a messenger…
The Country is in a total mess and, to be honest, I doubt anyone in the position to make a change, I doubt anyone with the power to make a change really or truly cares. Everyone is playing safe, everyone is being a politician, everyone is lying, everyone is blaming everyone, everyone is just trying to look like they care and look good in the eyes of man!!!
Everyone is just trying to clear their names, but people and children are dying, people and children are getting killed!! but I pray one day, ONE LOVE, genuine love for one another, genuine talk, will overcome force, hypocrisy, segregation, and selfish intentions in my Country.
I forever stand with the people of Kumba I stand with the people of North West and South West I stand with the people from where I come from, from where I was born, for I feel their pain within and no amount of show, pictures, hashtags, post on social media can express it.
One day there will be light at the end of the tunnel, light will most definitely overcome darkness, and one day we all shall smile again.
Mola !!! at the end of the day, who is Ambe? some of you know me as a cloud chaser, some of you know me as an untalented artist, some of you see me as an upcoming artist, some of you think I’m a made artist, some of u see me as a failure of an artist and some of you even think I’m not fit to be an artist.
But Ambe is just a suffering child from Bamenda who cares for his people but at the same time trying to survive in a dangerously wicket world!
