Cameroonian artist, Tilla Tafari has taken to her Facebook page to address all those speaking against female artists baring children before marriage.

Here’s what she wrote:

”Giving birth to my son is the best decision I’ve ever made. As an artist, there is a certain stigma or level of expectation especially being female to keep up a perfect image. Well, I’m not trying to be perfect. I’m trying to be real and happy. A child does need both parents but that doesn’t mean a child can’t grow healthily if he\she doesn’t live with both parents. I’m glad that myself and other female artists are successfully breaking these biased rules of society and creating new rules. If you think raising a child is all about showing off on social media I advise you to visit a maternity and do some research. My son’s father and I have already spent over 1,000,000 frs on our son Zion since he was born and he’s not even 1year old yet. Anyone speaking against female artists bearing children is straight-up just jealous or gay on the low. Y’all can suck on my big tities! Jah bless. This is not over!”

Tilla’s post comes in following singer Wazih’s post about Cameroonian artists giving birth out of wedlock some days ago.
