After the break up of his group, and facing a lot of instability and hardship, Felani traveled to the United Arab Emirates to find a job and support his family. He stayed and worked there for 15months But his dream to pursue his passion was still much alive. In 2018 he returned to Cameroon and started doing backup work for his former group mate and friend, K.O-C.

After many failed proposals from 4 different music labels, he met Sessua Entertainment in June 2019 and they had a good understanding they decided to work together. After releasing two songs Vanité and Aucune Idée, which were unsuccessful, Felani took time off to find his true path and his own sound.
