Spread the love

Hello MGP Readers,

The artist we are going to present to you today is one multi-talented man.

We knew him as an actor and yes he played his characters well. Some days ago we were talking about him to a friend who informed us that he had traveled abroad to further his knowledge and sharpen his skills in music.

Curious as we are, we decided to dig into the life of this actor who is now a musician. When we got to Evas he smiled and answered…

“I am called T Son Evas and I was born on the 8th of October 1987 in the North West Region of Cameroon precisely in Njinikom-Kom (Boyo Division). I did my elementary education in Government School Njinikom (School Ibami Ndo) class 1-3, Catholic School Bayele (class 4), and St. Anthony Catholic School Njinikom (Njin) class 5-7.

I also did my secondary school at Jua Memorial College Njinikom (Forms 1-2), later moved to English High School Yde-EHS ( Forms 3-5), then to Lycee Etoug-ébé Yaounde where I obtained my Ordinary and Advance Levels.

After my Advanced Level, I immediately moved to the University of Buea in the South West Region of Cameroon in 2009 where I obtained a BSc in Management in 2013″.

Evas spent his first 15 years on earth in the North West Region precisely at Njinikom in a neighborhood called Bochain and later moved to Yaounde at 15 and then Buea at 22. While growing up Evas had a dream and his motivational force.

“My first dream was to become a Roman Catholic Priest. This dream started petering out when I later changed my mind to becoming an Actor and a Musician the year I moved to Yaounde.

I was still committed to serving God even in my field of passion and today my commitment is flowering through and through. God has blessed me with overflowing inspiration and a great zest for music compositions.

But what keeps me going in the business is when my heart is been nicely interpreted via the performances of these compositions either by the school or Church choirs, by different Artists, or by myself.

The positive feedback from the public or audience in place also puts a smile on my face and makes me work even harder”. – Evas tells MGP.

This proud son from Kom is a part-time worker in a place but does music for a living. He says

Everything works well for those who plan well. It is all about proper planning and maximizing the use of human resources to achieve stated goals. He has a message for y’all…

“In as much as education is the key to success as my Dad (Bobe Yerima Afo-Akom) has always preached to us till date, your talent (if identifiable) is what will give you a satisfactory success. Stop having dreams.

Have a dream, pray hard, and work hard to materialize it. It doesn’t matter how long it takes. When your time is right, your light will shine bright and the hustle will pay”. – T Son Evas.

TSON has returned from South Korea and has established himself in Douala where his music studio (CEO of WOINKOM STUDIOS) is.
