Zashy, born Fon Augustine is a 23-year-old Cameroonian singer, songwriter, composer under Thee 808 Nation.
Introduced to the Cameroon Music scene by his mentor Sango Edi, in 2016, Zashy has proven to have a very outstanding-pen-game as proven in well-celebrated records
from Cameroon such as CA IRA & IL EST LA by NABILA, CONDEMNER À VIE by WAX DEY, all written and composed by Zashy as well co-writing and composing MA VIE & FALLING by BRIANA LESLEY, CAVA ALLER by NABILA, to name a few.
Hailing from the northwest region, ‘Batibo’, Zashy sings in French, English, and his native mother tongue.
He sees music as a means of transcending emotions and a spiritual language that connects with every soul.
Zashy’s debut single ‘Holy Ghost Faya’ was produced by CADEX OTB, another prolific record producer under Thee808nation umbrella.
Zashy is set to release an EP comprising of 3 songs and an official debut video as his official introduction to the Cameroonian musical scene as a solo artist on the 12th of July, followed by subsequent releases hereon.
Export the Cameroonian culture to the world, uplift his community, and serve as a role model to the Cameroonian youth is Zashy’s goal.
