Kwata Music INC  announces new collaboration with Torch City. 

A crew of 3 young talented artists from Cameroon; Cales (Tassing Cales), Edico (Sunday Edwin) and Waxzey (Fomonyuy Hans) who grew up in the streets of Bamenda (North West Region of Cameroon) with a common goal of painting a vivid picture of the streets and their life experiences through Hip Hop music.

Their background and cultural influences makes them best fit to represent the Kwata Pikin Identity alongside Mic Monsta who is the founder.

 The first project of this collaboration is the Remix to Torch City’s 2016 single titled “Njaka” a kwata Slang which translates to “little kid”.

“The way I di hustle sef ma reme don di wonder, grown up spirit in the body of a Njaka” says Cales ini the second verse. The hip hop song filled with heavy punchlines from all the rappers, carries a theme of growth hence the slang “I no be Na Njaka”.

Featuring Cameroon’s finest lyricist Mic Monsta also know as “ the Microphone Njoku”, Njaka carries all the elements of kwata music which is the sound that makes you feel at home and connects you to your Cameroonian originality.

The song produced by Moit, Mixed and mastered by Dijay Karl will be available on all distribution platforms worldwide on the 8th of May 2020.
