We can all agree that 2019 has been the year for clapbacks and the celebrities have no chill!

This year some people got blocked and others got kicked out from events.

We have compiled five of the best clapbacks from Cameroonian celebrities this year.

1. Daphne Njie clap back at the People who said She was Deported from USA:

Last year, a rumour circulated on social media that Steven’s Music artist, Daphne, was deported and banned for 10 years from entering America and her passport was seized after a show. This rumour was the talk of the town as most people were tarnishing her image, adding insult to injury! Fast-forward to a month later,  She posted a picture of her in America on her social media pages and captioned the photo “10 years later”.(Lol)!

2. Fhish Responds to Stanley Enow’s ”Disrespect”:

Stanley Enow reportedly invited upcoming artist Fhish to his album’s listening party to show support and apparently, Fhish came and wasn’t treated as he would’ve loved to… The following day, He took to social media to post a video of him ranting, expressing his displeasure caused by the non-fulfillment of his expectations in Stanley Enow as he felt disrespected at the way he was treated.

Some days later, Stanley’s brother, Martin Enow took to his twitter account to address Fhish and his ”gofment”.

3. Awu Takes down “Yayayo” video:

Talented singer Awu released his highly anticipated single “Yayayo” which was warmly received by fans and everyone was waiting for the visuals of the song.

However, the video didn’t live up to expectations as many fans expected more and kept on criticizing it and so, Awu responded by taking down the video from YouTube and reshooting a new one which was highly appreciated.

This was, however, one of the best clapbacks as the 2nd video promoted the song better.

4. Pascal released his version of Jovi’s Song Devil no di Sleep”:

Former NewBell Music rapper, Pascal, was having a cold war online with his former boss Jovi. The ”mbokogod” consistently trolled Pascal with his numerous tweets disrespecting Pascal. Pascal on other hand, decided to express his feelings on a song titled “Devil nedi really Sleep”(He used Jovi’s ”Devil No Di Sleep beats) in which he said a couple of things about Jovi which made this cycle of words between them to stop.

5. Jovi Kicks Out Pascal from his Show in Douala:

Pascal and Jovi continued their online fight as they bash at each other. However, Jovi was headlining the Douala Music Art Festival(Domaf) and during his performance, he spotted Pascal in the crowd.

Jovi wasn’t happy about that and so he clap back by halting his performance to order security to throw Pascal out from the scene.

This has however led to the dissolution of their relationship. This clap back was rather a humiliating one for Pascal.
