Ballantine’s has announced the appointment of three influential brand ambassadors: Ko-C, Mimie, and DJ Labastille.

The brand ambassadors join the Scotch Whisky family to serve side missions of the community, including launching the brand’s new localized campaign – ‘There’s No Wrong Way’, promoting responsible drinking, and offering exclusive performance to its audience.

Ballantine’s has always believed in its ‘Stay True’ mantra and has sought, via that platform, to put forth people with music, style, and cultural influences, that are the fruit of true expressions, – Ko-c in music, Mimie in music and film and Dj Labastille in deejaying and event management.

Ballantine’s seeks to champion key influencers who share the pioneering spirit and challenge them to push their boundaries. Not in pursuit of the glitz and glamour, but to express the art they truly believe in.

For their first key project, Ballantine’s and the influences will work in its main campaign – ‘There’s no wrong way’. This would be an adaption of the global campaign featuring Ko-C, Mimie, and Dj Labastille. The campaign will champion self-expression, giving people the confidence to be their true ‘self’. Because when you Stay true to who you are when you turn off society’s expectations, there’s no wrong way to live.

Through the There’s No Wrong way stories of their 3 ambassadors, Ballantine’s hopes to inspire the next generation of artists and young people to stay true to themselves as they find their way in the world.

When we asked Ko-C what he thinks about this endorsement deal, he said: Ballantine’s is demonstrating its commitment to supporting creativity. It’s a great pleasure to partner with the Scotch Whisky brand to deliver incredible events and content.

Mimie also added: Self-expression is important, and I am excited to be working with a brand that understands this. This is a journey that would connect me to working with a collection of amazing Cameroonian talents that approach their work with the same passion and conviction that I do.

DJ Labastille concluded: I am proud of the work Ballantine’s has done so far for the music scene in Cameroon. And very excited to be taking this to the next level by working with a  brand that appreciates creativity in young people.
