On one of our previous articles we talked about ”Why 70% of Cameroonians don’t watch Cameroonian movies” and one of the points we strongly highlighted was the fact that they are unaware of platforms where they can watch these movies.
So to reduce the unawareness rate for this phenomenon, we are going to talk about the various platforms where we can watch cameroonian movies which are:
1. CINEMAS:
Cinemas are public halls were people come to watch movies and get entertained. Cameroonian films can be watched in Cinemas both local and international.
The most popular cinemas we have in Cameroon are Canal Olympia Bessengue in Douala and Canal Olympia around Ngoakelle,Yaounde.
2. MOVIE PREMIERES:
Movie Premieres are Entertainment Events whereby you are fortune to watch the movie for the first time after its release and you don’t only watch it alone but you watch with the entire cast and crew of the movie. Now that’s a more classy to watch a movie.
There is no other feeling like a movie premiere and to think you will be watching the movie with the cast and crew and also you get to meet the actors in person. We urge all Cameroonians to attend Movie Premieres.
3. ONLINE PLATFORMS(Websites):
Online platforms are used for the streaming of Cameroonian movies both French and English from Cameroon to the world.
Cameroonian online platforms are determined to showcase and to reward the creativity and talents of the movers and shakers in its home-based entertainment industry.
Through Online platforms like Njoka TV, Sango Tv and Yabadoo App with a click, you enjoy hours of TV shows and movies per day, including original series, documentaries and feature films, Vox Pops, web series, and music videos.
Subscribers can watch as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, on any Electronic device connected to the Internet.
4. TV CHANNELS:
Now this is the simplest way of watching Cameroonian Movies and the oldest way to have access to Cameeoonian Movies.
With one click of a button, you get to view cameroonian movies 24/7. Now Channels that can make this possible are Channels like CRTV, Canal2movies, My Movie TV and Stv.
5. BLOGS:
Blogs are not necessarily centers to watch Cameroonian Movies but they are Key Shortcuts to have access to them. They direct you to all platforms where you can enjoy them.
Examples of such blogs are ”Miss Gina Promotes Blog and Betatinz to name a few.
So there you have it, 5 Major platforms where you can watch,enjoy and learn about Cameroonian Movies, Actors, Producers, Directors and the Industry as a whole.
