Artiste Biography

Tanjoh Akung aka “VISION” is a born music fanatic who has dedicated part of his life working to make his craft great. He is born and raised in Douala Cameroon.  Vision is a brave and adventurous artiste who discovered his love and passion for music ever since he was 9 years old, growing up with Makossa as the preferred genre of his parents, which eventually inspired his love for music. Vision was later on nicknamed the beatbox of his family due to his dedication to music.

At that tender age, he always used music as a source of happiness and expressing his emotions. Vision showcased his talent in birthday parties and also family reunions. Not being much of a talkative, music was Vision’s mouthpiece and means of communication.

In the quest to portray his homeland, Vision, now a concluding student in International Business and Management, is set to release his first official music video, after his last two releases – Feelings and I No Send Dem.

Vision is pleased to present his new release “She Wants,” a song in which he expresses the pain of wanting to build a relationship with someone he loves but instead gets disappointed because all she is after is wealth and fame.

The video was shot in the Netherlands where he is currently based and produced by the prolific Dijay-Karl. The music video is set to drop on the 25th of August 2018. The  depiction of the universal need of love is the running theme of Vision’s latest art piece. The music video was shot by Boets Media.
