“It’s painful to see what your own people think about your attempts and endeavors” – Ko-C writes

Ko-C is disgruntled with the way most Cameroonians are criticizing the efforts of his colleagues who have decided to push through with the “We Need Peace” campaign in Cameroon. He took to his Facebook page to express his feelings.

“We Need Peace”, is a movement initiated by a group of influential Cameroonian artists.Due to the ongoing crisis in the North and South West Region of Cameroon, artists like: Salatiel, Mr. Leo, Blanche Bailly, Pit Baccardi, Mink’s, Ko-C, Magasco, Nabila, Edi Ledrae, Blaise Bsings,Daphne, Pascal, Mic Monsta,just to name a few, have released songs with the theme “peace and justice”.

After the release of the audio song,”We Need Peace”, so many Cameroonians have been criticizing the artists.Some asked: “Why are artists only speaking about the crisis now?”

Ko-C wrote: “It’s painful to see what your own people think about your attempts and endeavors.But it’s okay I think God knows our hearts best ✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼 #peace 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️
