The US-based Cameroonian record label
Main Musik just announced they are dropping their front runner artist ARRÉ.
Arré is no longer part of the label and they plan on proceeding without him. The label said working with Arré has been a good & bad
experience but the label has decided to let him go after deliberating on the decision for over 3 months.
Sources close to Main Musik says that Arre started putting up attitude just few weeks after the Premiere of his first Video “Low Waste “. That while the label was busy promoting his hit single which is now on Trace Africa charts , the Artist on the other hand will not show up for Performances and Interviews. He even left the
Label Apartment based in Buea since last Month and moved to Yaounde.
And even tho the previous labels Arre had worked with complain to them about his lack of commitment to his career, they were willing to take their chances and went ahead to spend millions of CFA on him from his videos to his housing and Wardrobe.
But at this point it is clear they can no longer work with him. Main Music still thinks Arre is an outstanding talent and wish him all the best in his career.
At the moment they are working with another artist and will introduce to the public at the right time.
