 Career Orientation is a guidance program designed to prepare students for a greater understanding of educational and career opportunities. The main objective of this Beneficial Life Career Orientation conference is to help its Beneficiary’s children make meaningful career choices and educate them on what it takes to excel in any chosen field.
 In line with its Children Educational Plan (CEP), Beneficial Life Insurance organized a career orientation conference to orientate youths (15-18 years) on various career options, how to choose a career and what it takes to succeed that career of choice. Children Education Plan (CEP) is a product of the Beneficial life Insurance which covers Educational insurance. As part of the CEP contract, Beneficial Life Insurance gives a percentage of the money paid annually by beneficiary to support them with educational finances. At the beginning of every school year, Group Beneficial hands over checks to parents but unlike previous years where parents were called to collect their checks at the beneficial head office, Group beneficial decided to use this opportunity to organize a career orientation conference for their children. This conference was held at the Dominique Savio parish,Bonapriso 22nd of July 2017.

                          
THE BENEFICIAL LIFE CAREER ORIENTATION CONFERENCE
THEME: Enlightening and educating youths on meaningful career choices.

–EVENT OBJECTIVES
The objectives of beneficial life Insurance’s career orientation conference are to;
1. Sensitize youths on the importance of education in present day society
2. Identify major career paths
3. Highlight some of the obstacles youths face as far as career options are concerned
4. Suggest possible solutions on how to tackle potential challenges

On July 13th, a press conference took place at Pullman Douala Rabingha from 10 a.m. to discuss about the Beneficial Career Orientation Conference.

The Beneficial Life Insurance career orientation conference has been scheduled for the 22nd of July 2017 at the Dominique Savio parish Bonapriso from 10a.m. to 4p.m.

The conference started with a welcome note from the Beneficial Life’s Director; followed by a brief presentation of the CEP product and an introduction to the career orientation program while presenting the various speakers. Immediately after this, the conference will begin followed by a question answer session. At the end of the conference, lucky youngsters won a laptop and tablet after the quiz. Refreshments followed suit.
