Celebrated Cameroonian singer, Daphne Njie made history by winning the Best female Artiste in Central Africa at the All Africa Music Award(AFRIMA) which was held in Accra, Ghana on the 24th of November 2018.

 

Daphne beat out fellow artists who were up for the Award such as:

Amanda Malela – DRC (Kumama)
Daphne – Cameroon (Jusqu\’a La Gare)
Iyenga- DRC (Sorry)
Bruna Tatiana – Angola (Amo-te)
Charlotte Dipanda Ft. Yemi Alade – Cameroon (Sista)
Anabela Aya – Angola (I love you Bue)
Shura – Cameroon (Allez Dire)
Blanche Bailly – Cameroon (BonBon)

Celebrating her award, Daphne walked up the AFRIMA event stage where she thanked her team, supporters and dedicated the award to all those who who are dying everyday in the North and South-West Region in Cameroon due to the ongoing Anglophone crisis.
