Barrister Nkongho Felix Agbor Balla, President of the Center for Human Rights and Democracy in Africa has paid a visit to a home hosting over two dozen people in Sodiko – Bonaberi, Douala.

The Human Rights Lawyer was accompanied on the visit by Cameroon’s popular artist Salatiel, Journalists Fred Muvunyi of DW and Atia Azohnwi.
Salatiel is founder and CEO of Alpha Better Records based in Buea.

After listening to the stories of the persons fleeing the conflict in the North West and South West regions, the team agreed to succour their pain.

Aside material and financial donations made on the spot, they seek to get a decent accommodation for the seven families struggling in two rooms. They’re also exploring the possibility of having the children return to school and make it possible for the others to get subsistence.
